Shock and Awe
Alright, the shock is beginning to wear off. The depression is starting to lift. I'm no longer afraid to raise the covers and get out of bed. The idea of moving to Canada, or Uranus is fading.
Prior to election day, the orders were pouring in. They've slowed to no more than a trickle in the days since. I guess our target demographic hasn't exactly been in a holiday mood.
Our new publicists in Boston, Edna and Phyllis, began to help us tell our story this week. I've already done a few interviews. A few stories have appeared on-line, and we're hoping to get some coverage in print.... especially since the Jewish press at large, is ignoring our story.
By popular request, we began offering blank card versions of our Chrismukkah cards. Also a bunch of Chrismukkah mugs, T-shirts, ornaments, hats and lunchboxes... courtesy our partnership with www.Cafepress.com/chrismukkah. Now your pet can now stay warm this Chrismukkah in his own "Oy Joy" doggie warmer.
We started pouring the foundation for our new2 car garage today. We've been doing without a garage these past few winters, and scaping the snow and ice off the windshields every morning gets to be a drag. Photos of our house can be seen on our website: http://www.montanavacationhome.com. I built the house a few years back as my bachelor pad vacation home, and I'm real proud.... silly and unpractical as it is now that I've got a family. The northern lights were stunning from our bedroom window the other night. Most of the geese have flown south. Snow is on the mountaintops. Winter is near.

The whole idea of the holiday of Chanukah is about the Jews fighting assimilation. Yes that is what the holiday about. It is not about eating potato pancakes or doughnuts. That only shows a major miracle that transpired on Chanukah. The very reason for the so-called necessity for such a holiday called Chrismukkah goes against every principle of Judaism and the Holiday of Chanukah. In Judaism a marriage of a non Jew is not even recognized as a marriage at all. All it is recognized as is a sin. Thus your wonderful Holiday that you made a nice and charming websites about is celebrating a sin. What is next? The Jewish pro-pork eating website? Or the Jewish Lets all eat on Yom Kippur website? The truth is, if the mother is Jewish, the child is Jewish. The father can be a gorilla, it makes no difference. The Truth is a Christian child does not have the right to celebrate Chanukah. Yes he does not have the right. It is a spit in the face to every Jew that actually cares about Judaism. I pity you all, who celebrate it, and for the Jews that do celebrate it, I wish you all a refouah shelaymah. I know, none of you know what it means, go ask your grandmother, if she is still alive. I am sure you all made her very proud by the way. (Note, it was not an insult)
BARUCH HASHEM for someone having the guts to tell it like it is! Chanukah is about a group of people who would rather kill themselves than assimilate to xtianity.
While, I personally do not care who you marry, I care dearly about the bastardization of MY holiday as a Jew. Xtians have enough airtime and holidays to not hijack yet another Jewish item. Isn't it bad enough that you have taken Torah and tried to change it to suit your needs? Call a dead man on a stick our Jewish king and suck the life out of everything Jewish that they can possibly get their hands on and now we are supposed to celebreate the hijacking of one the very events of Jewish history that defines us as a Jew.
This completely digusts me and for every Jew who accepts a merry xmas and gives a Happy Chanukah in exchange is not fully understanding that our holidays, our rituals are NOT derivative...JEWS are the original, xtians are trying to latch on to our religion to validate their man g-d.
Wake up!
